Industrial security shall provide the adoption of measures for the protection of classified information between commercial companies and organisations in cases where contracts and the awarding of contracts contain or are related to classified information.

Industrial security covers the use of security measures and procedures required to prevent, detect and return the loss or to prevent the compromise of classified documents, which are at the disposal of the contractor or sub-contractor during negotiations prior to the award of contracts and during the implementation of the secret contract or secret subcontract.

A secret contract shall mean any contract for the supply of products, execution of works or provision of services, whose implementation requires or includes access to classified information or its creation.

A secret subcontract shall mean any contract concluded between the contractor and another contractor – subcontractor for the supply of goods, execution of works or provision of services, whose implementation requires or includes access to classified information or its creation.
